Dr. Teckle is a Senior Health Economist at the Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control (ARCC), British Columbia Cancer Agency and a Assistant Professor in the School of Population and Public. Previously he held positions at Health Economics Research Unit, University of Aberdeen UK.

Recipient of research funding (Principal Investigator) from the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to investigate the economic effect of cancer and its treatment on breast cancer survivors. Over the course of his academic career, Dr. Teckle has published a number of scientific papers.

His research interests include economics of cancer, applied econometrics, health-related quality of life in cancer patients, health services research, primary/secondary data quantitative analysis of cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
