I am a Biostatistician with appointments as a faculty member in the UBC School of Population & Public Health, as the senior biostatistician at the CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network, as the Biostatistics Program Head at the Centre for Health Evaluation & Outcome Sciences (CHEOS) within the Providence Healthcare Research Institute (PHCRI), and as the Real-World Clinical Trials Methods Cluster Lead in the BC SUPPORT Unit.
My current interests include statistical education & practice, methods for causal inference, and real-world clinical trial design. I collaborate extensively on clinical and epidemiological research with investigators in many disciplines including HIV/AIDS, mental health, neurology, emergency medicine, critical care, orthopaedics, and rheumatology.
