
Anders is a post-doctoral research and teaching fellow with the School of Population and Public Health (SPPH) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) working with Dr. Michael Brauer and a pan-Canadian team to examine low-level exposure to ambient air pollution and cause-specific mortality using multiple Canadian longitudinal (CanCHEC and CCHS-CMDB) cohorts.
Anders completed his BSc. in geography at the University of Victoria (UVic), a Masters in Community Health Sciences at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), and his PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies back at UVic in 2016.
His research interests predominantly focus on the spatial and environmental epidemiology of chronic and reproductive health, and the interaction between social, genetic and environmental risk factors.
