*This is a blended course combining weekly asynchronous pre-recorded lectures and readings with a weekly in-person sessions, ranging from 1 to 1.5 hours in length, from 2:30pm to either 3:30pm or 4pm, and will comprise a mix of guest lectures and in-class activities.

Length of these sessions will vary but will mostly be one hour unless there is also an in-class quiz, and a separate 3 hour in-class midterm (date TBD).

SPPH 401-001* Basic Epidemiology for Infection Control

*This is a graduate-level course designed to explore fundamental concepts in epidemiology, biostatistics for epidemiology, study design and analysis and outbreak investigation as it applies to institutional infection control.

The entire course will be delivered online in a problem-based learning format.
