Students win in Round 1 of Canadian Evaluation Society annual Case Competition

Apr 02, 2014 |

Congratulations to SPPH students Zahra Remtulla, Jackie Siegel, Petra Lolic, Laura Ball, and Crystal Sun who are one of three teams selected as winners in Round 1 of the Canadian Evaluation Society annual Case Competition.

Dr. Chris Lovato served as Team Coach.

In this year’s competition 21 student teams from across the country had 5 hours to prepare a written analysis of an evaluation case that was judged by a national panel of experts.

The final competition will be held this June, in Ottawa, at the Canadian Evaluation Society’s annual conference where the three Round 1 winning teams will analyse a new case and present findings and recommendations before a live audience.

Best wishes to the UBC team as they prepare for the final round!
