SPPH celebrates our 2019 spring graduates

Congratulations to all the School of Population and Public Health’s 2019 spring graduates!

Sixty-four students from across our School gathered with family and friends to celebrate their achievements, including 28 in the Master of Public Health program, five in the Master of Health Science program, five in the Master of Health Administration program, nine in the Master of Science program, seven in the Doctor of Philosophy program, and nine in the Master of Science in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene program.

Emily Rugel, graduate of our PhD in Population and Public Health, describes her time in the School in supporting her to take on new opportunities, crediting “the skills gained and connections made during my time at UBC”.

School Director, Dr. Peter Berman, along with faculty and staff, celebrated our graduates at a reception held at Sage Bistro, prior to the May 22 convocation.
