I’m a Public Health & Preventive Medicine specialist who has worked at McGill and UBC and in the public health departments in Montreal and Vancouver since 1982. My areas of practice have been infectious disease prevention and control and immunization, mother and child health, injury prevention, harm reduction, the healthy built environment, primary care service organization, and media relations.

My principal academic interests are undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching and evaluation and evaluation of public health programmes.
