PLEASE NOTE: Always refer to the Faculty of Graduate Studies for the most up-to-date information. Selected information on this page was updated on April 25, 2012, but not all may be up to date.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards website includes detailed information about a broad range of scholarships and other financial aid available to University of British Columbia graduate students. It is worthwhile to take the time to peruse their site. It may surprise you to hear that every year some scholarships and bursaries go unawarded, simply because no one has applied.

Most of the following funding programs and awards are available to thesis students only (MSc, PhD students).
Please check with your program manager, faculty advisor or supervisor for advice about applying.
