Federal Government to Invest $81m into SPOR Data Platform

The Canadian government has announced an investment of $81 million over seven years into the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research Canadian Data Platform (SPOR), which is spearheaded by Dr. Kim McGrail from the School of Population and Public Health.

Dr. McGrail believes that this will lead to a single portal through which researchers can request information from sources across the country and share analytical tools.
