Health Economic Evaluation and Coverage Decision Making
This 2-day short course, to be delivered in Vancouver, offers the opportunity to learn about economic evaluation, its methods and its application. All sessions will be delivered using interactive and hands-on approaches to build knowledge and consolidate learning. The sessions move progressively from rationale and theoretical foundations to analytic methods and decision-making frameworks.

Faculty for this course include Dr. Carlo Marra, Dr. Stirling Bryan, Dr. Larry Lynd and Dr. Craig Mitton. For more details and registration info, see attached file.

Thesis Title: The epidemiology of methamphetamine use among street youth and injection drug users

Brandon’s thesis supervisors are Dr. Jean Shoveller and Dr. Thomas Kerr.

Final Doctoral Examinations are normally held in the Examination Rooms on the main floor of the Graduate Student Centre, at 6371 Crescent Road. Parking is available in the Rose Garden Parkade (underground), or outside the University Centre (previously the Faculty Club).

Examinations normally take 2 - 3 hours to complete. Exam room doors are locked once exams are in progress - Late entry is not permitted.

Grand opening of new SPPH building
The School of Population and Public Health is hosting a grand opening celebration to officially open its new building at 2206 East Mall. The move from the James Mather building to the newly renovated building has brought the school under the same roof as the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research, the School of Environmental Health, the Human Early Learning Partnership, Population Data BC, the Global Health Research Program, and the Centre for Population Health Promotion Research – all affiliates of SPPH.
