Faculty, staff and students raise over $500 for local charities
Faculty, staff and students from the School of Population
and Public Health collectively donated $295 to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank
and $222 to the Salvation Army’s Adopt-a-Family program this month. Non-perishable food items for the Food Bank were also collected at the School’s
holiday lunch event.
Through the Adopt-a-Family program, community members adopt a Vancouver family to provide
them with a Christmas hamper with a full turkey dinner and toys for children, delivered to their doorstep.
