Dr. Paul Hebert, the Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Medical Association Journal will be giving a talk to students, faculty, and staff from 1:15 to 2:15 on "Why your papers get rejected and what you can do about it." A question and answer session will follow his presentation.  

Dr. Hebert recently gave this talk at Grand Rounds at St. Michael's hospital in Toronto. Dr. Hebert is Professor of Medicine (Critical Care), Anesthesiology, Surgery and Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa; Critical Care Physician at the Ottawa Hospital; and Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Health Research Institute. He graduated from the School of Population and Public Health's (formerly Department of Healthcare and Epidemiology) Master of Health Sciences program in 1993.
